Long Time

We'll my twins started kindergarten this past week and are loving it. I stopped posting almost a year ago as it's been a tough year between my father passing and changes at work. Shea and Coop are getting huge. Coop is a baseball junkie and will do anything to watch a Mets game and if you pitch to him he will hit balls all day and all night. Shea just wants to play with her dolls and no more soccer or anything. We finally got her to join Brownies. They love to fight as any brother and sister do but also never want to be apart either. I am trying to get make updates more often but I get blocked at work. So this should be one of more to come.

Been Gone so Long

Its been a few months since we last posted due to several reasons. Work has been crazy busy and on a sad note we lost our beloved Pop Pop on November 3 suddenly. We were very sad but he will always be watching over us and is even buried close by so we can draw him pictures and visit him when we want. We never even posted for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years! All of the holidays were great and we got lots of presents from Santa for being such good boys and girl. We just started our last semester of prek and we registered for Kindergarden this past week! We cannot wait to start next year and we will finally be going to a full day. Mommy is very excited. Cooper also registered to start little league this year. Shea wasn't so into the idea so we'll find something else for her to do. Cooper is ready to knock the cover off the ball though. It's been a cold winter and we are ready for some warm weather so we can get outside and start having some fun. I will update some new pictures soon with a new post.

Pre School Again

Shea and Cooper are back in their pre-school and loving it. They missed their friends and they missed their teachers and their school. They are doing so well and have moved into spelling and basic math already! They have also started playing soccer on Saturdays too. They love the running around. I think Cooper is enjoying it a bit more than Shea. He scored two goals in the first game they played a week ago. He was so happy he couldn't contain himself. Before we know it now it's going to be Halloween and then Thanksgiving and Christmas. This time of year goes by so fast. They haven't talked yet about what they are going to be for Halloween but I am sure they will surprise us with that shortly. I can't believe they are going to be in Kindergarten after this year. It has really gone by so quick. They also started in the Pre K program for CCD at the church this year. They have really enjoyed that as well. They get to color and sing songs like "If I Were a Butterfly". They feel so big because they used to only get to watch Tyler do this but now it is them doing it.

Home Again

We have just returned from our vacation in Myrtle Beach and twins had a wonderful time. Shea had my friends 4 months old baby to pay attention to all week and also a 7 year old playmate in my friends daughter Olivia. We were a little concerned she would not go in the sand or the ocean but she proved us wrong. She played in the sand all day and even splashed around in the ocean. She was brave enough to even go on some of the rides at the boardwalk including a solo spin on the merry go round. Cooper had a new best friend in my friend's son John. the two of them were thick as thieves all week. At any given time you could find the two of them running all over pretending to be Power Rangers or wrestling on the ground as super heroes. He went on a ride or two but wasn't as brave as his brother or sister. Both kids had such a great time with their friends and the beach and the pool and can't wait to go away with everyone again next year. They were also great on the ride there and the ride home. It was a long haul from home and they only asked 50 or 60 times when we were going to be there. Cooper also of course came down with a double ear infection on our last day there but even that couldn't slow him down from having fun. All in all this vacation created some great memories these kids will carry for a long time. Now it is time to get back in the swing and ready for school again!

Summer Fun

Cooper and Shea are having such a great summer so far. They have been bouncing around from pool to pool and loving every minute of it. Shea was a little more daring in the water and went all over the pool with her swimmy on. She even went into the deep end. It took Cooper a little longer to get comfortable with it but now they are all over the place. Our next challenge is getting those floaties off of them. We took it off Cooper and Shea got all nervous and kept telling us to be careful with him. She is such a Mother Hen over him. Yesterday he banged his foot and was crying and so Shea sat there rubbing his arm asking if he was ok. Shea and Coop had such a great time this year at pre school and will be going back for one more year. They missed the cut off for Kindergarten so we are sending them back. They will be in a class with all 4 year old's though. they both made such tremendous strides last year I am glad they get to go back for one more year before going full day. Other than that, we are all just getting ready for vacation. The kids love to go to the library and take out books for Summer reading and love playing on their Nintendo DS's. It's amazing how quick they pick them up. We will be on vacation with friends the first week of August so I should get some good pictures. Here are two of Shea and Coop enjoying their Aunt's and Uncle's pools.

Cooper and Shea are about to complete their first year of pre-school and they could not be happier. They still love it and ask every day if they are going. they have made so many friends and learned so much I can't even believe it. They seem to have grown so much this past year. Now they are both in booster seats too. We went out yesterday and bought two new ones for them. A green one for Coop and a pink one for Shea. It should be a fun Summer for everyone. though they won't have Sito's pool to swim in anymore. We'll just have to find a new place to go and swim. As far as what they are into now, Cooper is huge into the Power Rangers. Everything is either watching Power Rangers or playing Power Rangers. She loves her dolls. she goes down into the basement with the boys and as they play on the Wii, she dresses and undresses her dolls and treats them like her babies. Not much else has happened over the past few months. We did get a visit from the Easter Bunny and we are still eating candy from that. We can't wait for our vacation this summer with our friends though they keep asking me when they can go to Disney. Other than that they are just growing more and more every day and surprising us more everyday.

4 Years Old!!!

This week these beautiful twins turned 4 years old! I can hardly believe it has been 4 years since they were born. What a long way we have all come and what beautiful kids they are. I remember it was a cold February afternoon when they came into this world. Shea was ready and came right out with a full head of hair. Cooper not so much. He didn't want to see us and the doctor finally had to do a C section after another hour and 20 minutes. He came out as bald as can be. I remember wondering back then how in the world we were going to do it with a 2 year old and two newborns. We had plenty of help and now would have it no other way. She and Cooper are doing incredibly well and enjoying going to school and making new friends. They surprise us and thrill us every day. Jenene and I could not have asked for two better children and we love you guys very much.
